Legal assessments

Since 2012, Peter has conducted psychological assessments of adults and children for the family courts across East Anglia. These include public law cases, in which the Local Authority has applied for a court order to safeguard a child; as well as private law cases involving parental conflict, contact issues, and questions relating to residency, following family separation.

Cognitive assessments

Cognitive assessments can be conducted with children and adults, to understand a person’s strengths and difficulties. This can help to provide a clearer picture of an individual’s learning style and ways of processing information, so assist with planning for education and therapeutic intervention.

Between August 2018 and July 2021, I was on the Board of Trustees at the St Barnabas Centre in Norwich. This organization offers low-cost counseling and psychotherapy to people in the local community.

From 2016 to 2019, I facilitated seminar groups for trainees on the Doctoral Clinical Psychology Programme, at the University of East Anglia.
